In exercise 1, Mr. Martin provided us a set of clips that was deconstructed from a mint commercial. All we got to do is download the footages. Import all of the footages in a Premiere Pro project. Arrange the footages on the timeline with the proper order and export the video.

Reflection
I gathered that different shots sizes conveys different emotions on the character and this will convey different emotions to the audience. Learning these techniques showcase an effective way to show the audience what the character is feeling instead of verbally saying it.

Quiz

Fig 5.3 Understand Storytelling Quiz (14/5/2024)

Reflection
All movies follow three act structure. The structure is used as a guide on how to structure a storyline in a movie. Although many opposed to the idea that the three-act structure is very formulaic as there must always be an obstacle start a story and the obstacle must be resolved. I learnt that many film makers are able to make diverse story telling.
