Color Correction
Next, I go through a technical process called color correction where I make the footage look natural and realistic as possible. I choice to adjust Shot 1 first, I use the Lumetrics scopes to guide me on how to make the brightness and skin tone to its natural outlook. From there I use Shot 1 as a reference to correct the color for all of the scenes.

Color Grading
Once the color correction I go through the process of color grading. Unlike color correction, color grading is where we adjust the color for aesthetic reasons. I add the adjustment layer and use adjustment curves and color wheel & match to make the colors pop.

Revised Version
I realized that I overlook some information on the guidelines of Project 2, and I made correction on it. I added different color grading to each shot then I edit music to fit in the pacing of the video. Lastly, I added title cards and put finishing touches on the video.

Color grade your production shoot with the combination of below:
  • Teal & Orange,
  • Bluish (cold),
  • Greenish (cold),
  • Brownish (warm),
  • Desaturation, 50%-70%,
  • B & W, High Contrast

REFLECTION

Experience
I had a great experience doing the production shoot, where I worked with the team in order to create a film. I felt excited as this is the first I acted in role.

Observation
The crew I was with had good synergy and teamwork. I had some fun editing my make do trailer and adding my creative spin on it but when it came to requirements, I overlooked some information which I later worked it out.

Findings
This is my first Tik Tok video. One of the requirements is to list down the trends in Tik Tok that I liked, and use the style, unfortunately I dislike most of the trends out there and I wanted to create my own style on Tik Tok. I was confused when I was required to put on our own creativity on our Tik Tok video but Tik Tok videos are already all unoriginal.
