REFLECTION

Experience 
It was a stressful and hectic as the deadlines of each and every project of this module were very tight especially the drawing of the illustration. I am not a fan of going through this module in a linear progression as everything done in the previous work is locked in for future projects. My content is fiction; it can be difficult to use photographs from the internet; all illustrations had to be drawn.

Observation 
When it comes to different categorization of the story content, the subtext and pull quote, we have to keep in mind of hierarchy of font. In the usage of the font, it is important that it is readable. I initially thought we could go crazy with the arrangements of the paragraphs formatting, but it is not like that. The real challenge of creating a book is to balance function and design, and by function is to make sure the readers' eyes can follow through the story without getting confused. 

Findings
I have now learnt, certain margin sizes are applicable for the printing process. For example, if the margin is too small, the printer may make mistakes by "cutting" letters off. Now I learnt that when we format the story content, we are not supposed to have different formats in each and every page or it will be inconsistent. By observing my seniors' work, it gives me a clear understanding on how to properly structure my book.
