Design #1

Description:
I like how every character shown in this illustration have a diverse appearance and each of them have they own unique personality based on their facial expressions alone. The artist manages to make the image upbeat and vibrant without being overbearing. The color schemes seem subtle however it brings out the differences in each character.

Design #2

Description:
The Vodka bottle is the main focal point of the illustration accompanied by mother nature such as the sea, mountains, clouds, coral etc. The streams of water circling around the vodka bottle like a ribbon act as a guide for to streamline our attention to the tip of the bottle. The overall illustration filled with bright and vibrant colors gives a flamboyant tone to attract the viewers into buying the product.

This Poster expressed:
The poster is meant to represent the cultural exchange of Absolut vodka made by Rion Wang in Shenzhen, China. As it was inspired by traditional Japanese ukiyo-e art and 19th century etching.

Design #3

Description:
What intrigued me the most in the movie poster was its creative uses of perspectives. The camera within the house is angled in a bird’s eye view creating a claustrophobic aura. There is an optical illusion effect where perspectives transpose to a different space representing the person’s memories. The yellow hue gives off a nostalgic vibe.

This Poster expressed:
The poster promotes a 2018 Malaysian film about an autistic man who struggles to socialize with others and to find potential with his music talent. The protagonist’s unpleasant memories are structured in different perspective displaying his struggles to move on from his past.
